Interesting take on Waves basketball. One of your best points is that college basketball puts small schools on the map, yet I find it a bit understated.

While we can be proud of our tennis championships and volleyball championships, etc., let's not pretend like any of these things have the kind of return on investment that an invitation to the dance would have for the Waves.

It would be interesting to see how many more applications schools like Old Dominion and Murray State will receive this fall because their basketball teams were on national television. Not to mention donations from reinvigorated alumni and the interest others with potentially deep pockets.

I myself have vowed never to offer my Alma Mater a single dime until they get serious about the basketball program. And by serious I mean a bid to the NCAA tournament.

I'm impressed by the website. The articles are fun to read and I'll continue to work my way through them. Check out my brand new blog as well as www.vbs.tv - I think it's a site you'll enjoy and possibly want to post as a link.

That was a interesting read|. Your insights were very educational and made me reconsider the recent developments in these areas. If only more writers are as informed and as passionate about telling everyone about these issues as you, we aspiring journalists wouldn't get a really bad rep. Appreciate expressing your self so articulately. You made my day.
